Depends on the budget and which characters you want more, because most of the figures nowadays are good. SH Gohan and Piccolo are a good duo plus they are relatively cheap. SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta are both great, both are about 50-60$ so a bit pricier. Gogeta Blue and FP Broly were the first figures i had and they work well together.
I think you should give SH Figuarts a try. they are not perfect, sometime they have a lot of QC but most of the time the Articulation is amazing. The Hot Toys can look great but the suit take away the articulation.
